According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the I quarter of 2019, the labour force in the Republic of North Macedonia numbered 960 743 persons, of which 789 414 were employed, while 171 329 were unemployed persons.
The activity rate in this period was 57.1, the employment rate was 46.9, while the unemployment rate was 17.8.
