According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in 2011, the business entities engaged in construction activities completed construction works in the amount of 14 998 411 thousand denars.
Of that amount, 5 666 431 thousand denars were for constructions in private ownership.
During 2011, building activities were performed on 1 441 structures, and a total of 835 dwellings were completed, with total useful floor area of 52 019 m2, of which 696 are in private ownership.
The average useful floor area of the completed dwellings is 62.3 m2.
By regions, most construction activities were performed in the Skopje Region, followed by Pelagonia, South-West, etc.
