According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in 2014, the business entities engaged in construction activities completed construction works in the amount of 24 909 016 thousand denars.
Of that amount, 8 672 866 thousand denars were for constructions in private ownership.
During 2014, building activities were performed on 1 734 structures, and a total of 1 772 dwellings were completed, with total useful floor area of 122 332 m2, of which 1 446 are in private ownership.
The average useful floor area of the completed dwellings is 69.0 m2.
By regions, most construction activities were performed in the Skopje Region, followed by Vardar, Pelagonia, etc.
