According to the State Statistical Office data, the total commercial timber production in state-owned forests in the fourth quarter of 2012, compared to the fourth quarter of 2011, increased by 4.0%.
An increase was observed in the production of mining wood of coniferous species, logs of broad-leaved species, and fuel wood of coniferous and broad-leaved species.
There was a decrease in the production of other roundwood of coniferous and broad-leaved species, mining wood of broadleaved species, stack wood of coniferous species and other wood in the rough, including chopped wooden poles and stakes.
