According to the State Statistical Office data, the total commercial timber production in state-owned forests in the third quarter of 2012, compared to the third quarter of 2011, decreased by 3.5%.
There was a decrease in the production of mining wood of broad-leaved species, fuel wood of coniferous and broad-leaved species, stack coniferous wood, and other roundwood of coniferous and broad-leaved species.
An increase was observed in the production of logs of coniferous species, mining wood of coniferous species and other wood in the rough, including chopped wooden poles and stakes.
