According to the State Statistical Office data, the total commercial timber production in state-owned forests in the first quarter of 2019, compared to the first quarter of 2018, increased by 51.4%. An increase was observed in the production of logs of broad-leaved species, stack wood of coniferous species and fuel wood of coniferous and broad-leaved species. There was a decrease in the production of logs of coniferous species, mining wood of coniferous species and in other roundwood of coniferous species.
