Production and sale of forest assortments, felled timber and services in forestry - third quarter of 2024

According to the State Statistical Office data, the total commercial timber production in state-owned forests in the third quarter of 2024

was 145 669 m³ and compared to the third quarter of 2023 decreased by 23.3%.

An increase was observed in the production in other roundwood of coniferous species and stack wood of coniferous species.

There was a decrease in the production of logs of coniferous and broad-leaved species, mining wood and fuel wood.

In the same period sales of forest products amounted to 143 779 m³ and increased by 28.0%.
