Economic Accounts for Agriculture, 2011

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, gross value added in agriculture for 2011 was 41702 million denars
and in comparison with 2010 it increased by 1.0%. This increase is caused by the increased output of the agricultural
'industry' by 0.9% compared with 2010.


Crop production, having a 69.2% share in the total production, increased by 1.8% compared with 2010. Livestock
production, accounting for 22.7% of the total production, decreased by 2.2% compared with 2010.


Intermediate consumption recorded a 0.8% increase in 2011 compared with 2010.


In 2011, nominal and real income in agriculture from production factors per labour unit registered a decrease of 9.8%
in nominal income and 7.3% in real income from production factors.
