According to the data of the State Statistical Office, gross value added in agriculture for 2011 was 41702 million denars and in comparison with 2010 it increased by 1.0%. This increase is caused by the increased output of the agricultural 'industry' by 0.9% compared with 2010.
Crop production, having a 69.2% share in the total production, increased by 1.8% compared with 2010. Livestock production, accounting for 22.7% of the total production, decreased by 2.2% compared with 2010.
Intermediate consumption recorded a 0.8% increase in 2011 compared with 2010.
In 2011, nominal and real income in agriculture from production factors per labour unit registered a decrease of 9.8% in nominal income and 7.3% in real income from production factors.
