According to the data of the State Statistical Office, gross value added in agriculture for 2010 was 41300 million denars and in comparison with 2009 it increased by 10.8%. This increase is caused by the increased output of the agricultural 'industry' by 9.9% compared with 2009.
Crop production, having a 68.6% share in the total production, increased by 11.3% compared with 2009, due to the increased value of production of industrial crops by 20.4% and vegetables by 27.9%.
Livestock production saw no major changes in the value compared with 2009.
Intermediate consumption recorded an 8.9% increase in 2010 compared with 2009.
In 2010, nominal and real income in agriculture from production factors per labour unit registered an increase of 11.4% in nominal income and 7.8% in real income from production factors.
