According to the data of the State Statistical Office, gross value added in agriculture for 2013 was 49 670 million denars and in comparison with 2012 it increased by 15.9%. An increase was also recorded in the output of the agricultural "industry" by 9.5% compared with 2012.
Crop production, having a 69.1% share in the total production, increased by 9.6% compared with 2012. Livestock production, accounting for 21.7% of the total production, increased by 2.7% compared with 2012.
Intermediate consumption recorded a 1.7% increase in 2013 compared with 2012. In 2013, nominal and real income in agriculture from production factors per labour unit registered a decrease of 1.3% in nominal income and 5.2% in real income from production factors.
