According to the data of the State Statistical Office, gross value added in agriculture for 2012 was 42 841 million denars
and in comparison with 2011 it increased by 2.7%. A slight increase was recorded in the output of the agricultural
'industry' by 0.8% compared with 2011.
Crop production, having a 69.0% share in the total production, increased by 0.6% compared with 2011. Livestock
production, accounting for 23.2% of the total production, increased by 2.8% compared with 2011.
Intermediate consumption recorded a 1.4% decrease in 2012 compared with 2011. In 2012, nominal and real income
in agriculture from production factors per labour unit registered an increase of 15.0% in nominal income and 15.9% in
real income from production factors.
