Index of the number of employees in industry, January 2013

According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in January 2013, in
comparison with January 2012, was 99.8.
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in January 2013, in comparison with January 2012,
increased by 8.7%, in the section Manufacturing industry it decreased by 1.1%, while in the section Electricity, gas, steam and
air conditioning supply it increased by 1.7%.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in January 2013, in comparison with January 2012,
was lower in Capital goods industries by 7.0% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 1.2%, but higher in
Energy by 7.7% and Durable consumer goods industries by 0.4%.
