Index of the number of employees in industry, September 2010

According to the State Statistical Office data, the number of employees in industry in September 2010, in comparison with the same month of the previous year, decreased by 1.4%.

The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in September 2010, in comparison with September 2009, increased by 0.6%, in Manufacturing industry it decreased by 1.5% and in the section Electricity, gas and water supply it decreased by 1.6%.

In September 2010, the number of employees in industry in the Republic of Macedonia, in comparison with the average number of employees in industry in 2005, decreased by 15.5%. The index of the number of employees in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in the period January - September 2010, in comparison with January - September 2009, was 94.6.
