According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in February 2019, in comparison with February 2018, was 100.8.
The number of employees in industry in the section Manufacturing in February 2019, in comparison with February 2018, increased by 0.9%, in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it increased by 0.1% and in the section Mining and quarrying it decreased by 0.1%.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in February 2019, in comparison with February 2018, was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 1.7% and Capital goods by 15.7%, but lower in Energy by 0.6%, Durable consumer goods by 2.4% and Non-durable consumer goods by 4.3%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January - February 2019, in comparison with January - February 2018, was 101.0.
