According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in August 2015, in comparison
with August 2014, was 101.3.
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in August 2015, in comparison with August 2014,
decreased by 2.7%, while in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 1.7% and in the section Electricity, gas, steam
and air conditioning supply by 0.4%.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in August 2015, in comparison with August 2014, was higher
in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 1.8% and Capital goods industries by 16.6%, but lower in Durable consumer
goods industries by 0.9%, Non-durable consumer goods industries by 1.2% and Energy by 1.7%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January-August 2015, in comparison with January-August 2014,
was 101.8.
