Index of the number of employees in industry, July 2015

According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in July 2015, in comparison with
July 2014, was 101.3.
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in July 2015, in comparison with July 2014, decreased
by 2.8%, while in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 1.6% and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air
conditioning supply by 0.2%.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in July 2015, in comparison with July 2014, was higher
in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 0.7%, Capital goods industries by 19.0% and Durable consumer goods
industries by 0.3%, but lower in Energy by 1.9% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 1.1%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January - July 2015, in comparison with January - July 2014, was
101.9.
