Index of the number of employees in industry, February 2015

According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in February 2015, in comparison
with February 2014, was 102.5.
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in February 2015, in comparison with February 2014,
decreased by 4.1%, in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 3.4%, while in the section Electricity, gas, steam and
air conditioning supply it decreased by 3.0%.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in February 2015, in comparison with February 2014, was
higher in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 5.2%, Capital goods industries by 22.5% and Durable consumer
goods industries by 3.2%, but lower in Energy by 6.0% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 0.7%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January - February 2015, in comparison with January - February
2014, was 102.8.
