In 2018, the total turnover index in services compared to 2017 on annual base is 102.8, while quarterly the index in 2018 ranges between 89.9 in the first quarter to 112.7 in the fourth quarter.
The turnover from the sale of services in the first quarter of 2019 was higher than in the first quarter of 2018 for 2.6%.In the first quarter of 2019, the highest increase in services turnover is accounted in postal and courier activities (by 90.4%) and in services to buildings and landscape activities (by 66.1%). There is an increase also in turnover in the legal and accounting activities (by 27.3%) and in security and investigation activities (by 27.1%).
The highest decrease has been noted in sector of motion picture, video and television programme production, sound recording and music publishing activities (by 74.9%).
The trend shown in the Graph.1, for the period 2014-2019 I-st quarter, presents a slight increase in the turnover indices in services.
