Turnover indices in industry, May 2012

According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in May 2012, in
comparison with May 2011, was 80.2.
The index of domestic turnover in industry in May 2012, in comparison with May 2011, decreased by 29.4%, and the index of
non-domestic turnover in industry decreased by 13.3%.
The turnover index in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in May 2012, in comparison with May 2011, increased by
0.1%, while in the section Manufacturing industry it decreased by 20.8%.
The turnover index by Main Industrial Groupings in May 2012, in comparison with May 2011, was lower in Energy by 80.7%,
Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 7.9%, Capital goods industries by 18.7% and Durable consumer goods
industries by 28.7%, but higher in Non-durable consumer goods industries by 5.1%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in May 2012, in comparison with April 2012, was 90.5, while in the
period January-May 2012, in comparison with January-May 2011, the turnover index in industry was 95.7.
