Turnover indices in industry, April 2012

According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in April 2012, in
comparison with April 2011, was 87.6.
The index of domestic turnover in industry in April 2012, in comparison with April 2011, decreased by 11.8%, and the index of
non-domestic turnover in industry decreased by 12.8%.
The turnover index in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in April 2012, in comparison with April 2011, decreased by
7.9%, while in the section Manufacturing industry it decreased by 12.6%.
The turnover index by Main Industrial Groupings in April 2012, in comparison with April 2011, was lower in Energy by 16.4%,
Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 11.2%, Capital goods industries by 16.6%, Durable consumer goods industries
by 1.2% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 8.4%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in April 2012, in comparison with March 2012, was 93.1, while in the
period January-April 2012, in comparison with January-April 2011, the turnover index in industry was 100.1.
