According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in March 2012, in comparison with March 2011, was 107.0.
The index of domestic turnover in industry in March 2012, in comparison with March 2011, increased by 3.6%, and the index of non-domestic turnover in industry increased by 9.5%.
The turnover index in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in March 2012, in comparison with March 2011, decreased by 6.6%, while in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 7.8%.
The turnover index by Main Industrial Groupings in March 2012, in comparison with March 2011, was higher in Energy by 9.1%, Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 1.8%, Capital goods industries by 8,5%, Durable consumer goods industries by 25.7% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 11.6%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in March 2012, in comparison with February 2012,
was 116.4, while in the period January-March 2012, in comparison with January-March 2011, the turnover index in
industry was 105.2.
