Turnover indices in industry, February 2012

According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in February
2012, in comparison with February 2011, was 101.6.
The index of domestic turnover in industry in February 2012, in comparison with February 2011, decreased by 3.9%,
while the index of non-domestic turnover in industry increased by 5.5%.
The turnover index in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in February 2012, in comparison with February
2011, decreased by 13.2%, while in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 2.4%.
The turnover index by Main Industrial Groupings in February 2012, in comparison with February 2011, was higher
in Energy by 13.6%, Durable consumer goods industries by 5.5% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by
17.0%, but lower in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 14.2% and Capital goods industries by 3.4%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in February 2012, in comparison with January 2012,
was 99.2, while in the period January-February 2012, in comparison with January-February 2011, the turnover index
in industry was 104.2.
