According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in January 2012, in comparison with January 2011, was 106.9.
The index of domestic turnover in industry in January 2012, in comparison with January 2011, decreased by 3.3%, while the index of non-domestic turnover in industry increased by 13.8%.
The turnover index in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in January 2012, in comparison with January 2011, decreased by 19.8%, while in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 8.2%.
The turnover index by Main Industrial Groupings in January 2012, in comparison with January 2011, was higher in Energy by 4.6%, Capital goods industries by 56.4% and Durable consumer goods industries by 13.4%, but lower in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 3.6% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 4.0%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in January 2012, in comparison with December 2011, was 87.4.
