Turnover indices in industry, December 2011

According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in December
2011, in comparison with December 2010, was 111.3.
The index of domestic turnover in industry in December 2011, in comparison with December 2010, increased by
4.5%, and the index of non-domestic turnover in industry increased by 17.3%.
The turnover index in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in December 2011, in comparison with December
2010, decreased by 11.2%, while in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 12.5%.
The turnover index by Main Industrial Groupings in December 2011, in comparison with December 2010, was higher
in Energy by 13.8%, Capital goods industries by 81.0%, Durable consumer goods industries by 74.4% and Nondurable
consumer goods industries by 10.6%, but lower in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 5.0%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in December 2011, in comparison with November 2011,
was 86.9, while in the period January-December 2011, in comparison with January-December 2010, the turnover
index in industry was 124.2.
