According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in October 2011, in comparison with October 2010, was 120.3.
The index of domestic turnover in industry in October 2011, in comparison with October 2010, increased by 10.4%, and the index of non-domestic turnover in industry increased by 28.2%.
The turnover index in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in October 2011, in comparison with October 2010, increased by 0.1%, while in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 21.5%.
The turnover index by Main Industrial Groupings in October 2011, in comparison with October 2010, was higher in Energy by 15.6%, Capital goods industries by 168.8%, Durable consumer goods industries by 70.2% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 18.6%, but lower in Intermediate goods industries, except energy
by 1.6%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in October 2011, in comparison with September 2011, was 90.3, while in the period January-October 2011, in comparison with January-October 2010, the turnover index in industry was 124.6.
