According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in August 2011, in comparison with August 2010, was 114.7.
The index of domestic turnover in industry in August 2011, in comparison with August 2010, increased by 5.6%, and the index of non-domestic turnover in industry increased by 22.5%.
The turnover index in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in August 2011, in comparison with August 2010, decreased by 6.9%, while in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 15.9%.
The turnover index by Main Industrial Groups in August 2011, in comparison with August 2010, was higher in Energy by 41.5%, Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 2.0%, Capital goods industries by 125.5% and Durable consumer goods industries by 80.3%, but lower in Non-durable consumer goods industries by 5.8%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in August 2011, in comparison with July 2011, was 93.7, while in the period January-August 2011, in comparison with January-August 2010, the turnover index in industry was 125.4.
