According to the State Statistical Offce data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in May 2011, in comparison with May 2010, was 129.3.
The index of domestic turnover in industry in May 2011, in comparison with May 2010, increased by 20.5%, and the index of non-domestic turnover in industry increased by 36.0%.
The turnover index in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in May 2011, in comparison with May 2010, increased by 26.0%, and in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 29.5%.
The turnover index by Main Industrial Groups in May 2011, in comparison with May 2010, was higher in Energy by 32.0%, Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 22.8%, Capital goods industries by 184.9%, Durable consumer goods industries by 100.4% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 1.2%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in May 2011, in comparison with April 2011, was 98.8, while in the period January-May 2011, in comparison with January-May 2010, the turnover index in industry was 131.3.
