Turnover indices in industry, April 2011

According to the State Statistical Offce data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in April 2011, in comparison
with April 2010, was 140.1.
The index of domestic turnover in industry in April 2011, in comparison with April 2010, increased by 28.8%, and the index of non-
domestic turnover in industry increased by 49.9%.
The turnover index in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in April 2011, in comparison with April 2010, increased by
5.8%, and in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 42.3%.
The turnover index by Main Industrial Groups in April 2011, in comparison with April 2010, was higher in Energy by 67.3%,
Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 16.9%, Capital goods industries by 221.7%, Durable consumer goods
industries by 28.8% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 15.7%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in April 2011, in comparison with March 2011 was 113.8, while in the
period January-April 2011, in comparison with January-April 2010, the turnover index in industry was 131.8.
