Turnover indices in industry, March 2011

According to the State Statistical Offce data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in March 2011, in
comparison with March 2010, was 116.7.
The index of domestic turnover in industry in March 2011, in comparison with March 2010, increased by 14.7%, and the index of
non-domestic turnover in industry increased by 18.1%.
The turnover index in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in March 2011, in comparison with March 2010, decreased by
4.5%, and in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 18.1%.
The turnover index by Main Industrial Groups in March 2011, in comparison with March 2010, was higher in Energy by 31.8%,
Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 5.1% and Capital goods industries by 128.3%, but lower in Durable
consumer goods industries by 20.9% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 5.4%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in March 2011, in comparison with February 2011, was 110.5, while in
the period January-March 2011, in comparison with January-March 2010, the turnover index in industry was 128.7.
