Turnover indices in industry, February 2011

According to the State Statistical Offce data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in February 2011, in
comparison with January 2011, was 104.3.
The index of domestic turnover in industry in February 2011, in comparison with January 2011, increased by 6.9%, and the index
of non-domestic turnover in industry increased by 2.6%.
The turnover index in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in February 2011, in comparison with January 2011, increased
by 5.5%, and in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 4.3%.
The turnover index by Main Industrial Groups in February 2011, in comparison with January 2011, was higher in Intermediate
goods industries, except energy by 5.9%, Capital goods industries by 45.2% and Durable consumer goods industries by
21.4%, but lower in Energy by 5.9% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 10.2%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in February 2011, in comparison with February 2010, was 134.6, while
in the period January-February 2011, in comparison with January-February 2010, the turnover index in industry was 136.7.
