Turnover indices in industry, December 2017

According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in December 2017, in
comparison with December 2016, was 107.6.
The domestic turnover in industry in December 2017, in comparison with December 2016, decreased by 7.9%, whereas the nondomestic turnover in industry increased by 12.8%.
The turnover in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in December 2017, in comparison with December 2016, decreased by
16.3%, while in the section Manufacturing it increased by 8.6%.
The turnover by Main Industrial Groupings in December 2017, in comparison with December 2016, was higher in Intermediate goods,
except energy by 4.7%, Capital goods by 16.4% and Durable consumer goods by 20.3%, while in Non-durable consumer goods it
remained at the same level.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in December 2017, in comparison with November 2017, was 87.1, while in
the period January - December 2017, in comparison with January - December 2016, the turnover index in industry was 106.4
