According to the State Statistical Office (MAKSTAT) data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in April
2017, in comparison with April 2016, was 99.5.
The domestic turnover in industry in April 2017, in comparison with April 2016, decreased by 7.3%, whereas the non-domestic
turnover in industry increased by 1.4%.
The turnover in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in April 2017, in comparison with April 2016, increased by 24.7%,
while in the section Manufacturing it decreased by 1.2%.
The turnover by Main Industrial Groupings in April 2017, in comparison with April 2016, was higher in Intermediate goods,
except energy by 11.0%, but lower in Capital goods by 5.2%, Durable consumer goods by 3.2% and Non-durable consumer
goods by 7.4%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in April 2017, in comparison with March 2017, was 86.6, while in the
period January - April 2017, in comparison with January - April 2016, the turnover index in industry was 108.0.
