Turnover indices in industry, March 2017

According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in March 2017, in
comparison with March 2016, was 116.6.
The domestic turnover in industry in March 2017, in comparison with March 2016, increased by 2.7%, and the non-domestic
turnover in industry increased by 20.1%.
The turnover in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in March 2017, in comparison with March 2016, increased by
15.8%, while in the section Manufacturing it increased by 16.7%.
The turnover by Main Industrial Groupings in March 2017, in comparison with March 2016, was higher in Intermediate goods,
except energy by 23.1%, Capital goods by 22.8% and Durable consumer goods by 20.7%, but lower in Non-durable consumer
goods by 1.8%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in March 2017, in comparison with February 2017, was 114.8, while
in the period January-March 2017, in comparison with January-March 2016, the turnover index in industry was 111.1.
