Turnover indices in industry, February 2017

According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in February 2017, in
comparison with February 2016, was 109.7.
The domestic turnover in industry in February 2017, in comparison with February 2016, decreased by 7.0%, whereas the nondomestic
turnover in industry increased by 13.4%.
The turnover in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in February 2017, in comparison with February 2016, increased by
15.5%, while in the section Manufacturing it increased by 9.5%.
The turnover by Main Industrial Groupings in February 2017, in comparison with February 2016, was higher in Intermediate
goods, except energy by 15.4% and Capital goods by 12.8%, but lower in Durable consumer goods by 5.1% and Non-durable
consumer goods by 3.0%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in February 2017, in comparison with January 2017, was 113.4, while
in the period January-February 2017, in comparison with January-February 2016, the turnover index in industry was 108.0.
