Turnover indices in industry, December 2016

According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in December 2016, in
comparison with December 2015, was 106.6.
The domestic turnover in industry in December 2016, in comparison with December 2015, increased by 1.2%, and the nondomestic
turnover in industry increased by 8.6%.
The turnover in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in December 2016, in comparison with December 2015, increased
by 13.9%, while in the section Manufacturing it increased by 6.4%.
The turnover by Main Industrial Groupings in December 2016, in comparison with December 2015, was higher in Intermediate
goods, except energy by 5.9% and Capital goods by 16.8%, but lower in Durable consumer goods by 1.0% and Non-durable
consumer goods by 2.1%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in December 2016, in comparison with November 2016, was 83.1,
while in the period January-December 2016, in comparison with January-December 2015, the turnover index in industry was
109.9.
