According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in August 2016, in
comparison with August 2015, was 114.1.
The domestic turnover in industry in August 2016, in comparison with August 2015, increased by 8.4%, and the non-domestic
turnover in industry increased by 15.8%.
The turnover in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in August 2016, in comparison with August 2015, increased by
8.3%, while in the section Manufacturing it increased by 14.3%.
The turnover by Main Industrial Groupings in August 2016, in comparison with August 2015, was higher in Intermediate goods,
except energy by 13.0%, Capital goods by 16.2%, Durable consumer goods by 6.2% and Non-durable consumer goods by
13.0%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in August 2016, in comparison with July 2016, was 95.3, while in the
period January-August 2016, in comparison with January-August 2015, the turnover index in industry was 110.8.
