According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in May 2016, in
comparison with May 2015, was 113.2.
The index of domestic turnover in industry in May 2016, in comparison with May 2015, decreased by 1.1%, whereas the index of
non-domestic turnover in industry increased by 17.6%.
The turnover index in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in May 2016, in comparison with May 2015, decreased by
46.3%, while in the section Manufacturing it increased by 15.7%.
The turnover index by Main Industrial Groupings in May 2016, in comparison with May 2015, was higher in Intermediate goods,
except energy by 1.8%, Capital goods by 38.8% and Durable consumer goods by 11.4%, but lower in Non-durable consumer
goods by 1.9%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in May 2016, in comparison with April 2016, was 100.0, while in the
period January-May 2016, in comparison with January-May 2015, the turnover index in industry was 111.4.
