According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in April 2016, in
comparison with April 2015, was 115.7.
The index of domestic turnover in industry in April 2016, in comparison with April 2015, increased by 4.8%, and the index of nondomestic turnover in industry increased by 19.1%.
The turnover index in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in April 2016, in comparison with April 2015, decreased by
19.7%, while in the section Manufacturing it increased by 17.3%.
The turnover index by Main Industrial Groupings in April 2016, in comparison with April 2015, was higher in Intermediate goods,
except energy by 5.4%, Capital goods by 39.3%, Durable consumer goods by 10.3% and Non-durable consumer goods by 0.2%,
but lower in Energy by 61.3%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in April 2016, in comparison with March 2016, was 101.2, while in
the period January-April 2016, in comparison with January-April 2015, the turnover index in industry was 111.0.
