According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in January 2016, in
comparison with January 2015, was 106.9.
The index of domestic turnover in industry in January 2016, in comparison with January 2015, decreased by 1.1%, while the index
of non-domestic turnover in industry increased by 8.6%.
The turnover index in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in January 2016, in comparison with January 2015, decreased
by 25.0%, whereas in the section Manufacturing it increased by 8.4%.
The turnover index by Main Industrial Groupings in January 2016, in comparison with January 2015, was higher in Capital goods
by 30.4% and Durable consumer goods by 4.4%, but lower in Energy by 53.5%, Intermediate goods, except energy by 10.5%,
and Non-durable consumer goods by 4.6%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in January 2016, in comparison with December 2015, was 97.8.
