According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry, total, in August 2024, in comparison with August
2023, was 91.1.
The total turnover by Main Industrial Groupings in August 2024, in comparison with August 2023, was lower in Intermediate
goods, except energy by 5.6%, Capital goods by 18.3% and Durable consumer goods by 5.6%, but higher in Non-durable
consumer goods by 1.8%.
The turnover index in industry, total, in August 2024, in comparison with July 2024, was 93.6, while in the period January-
August 2024, in comparison with January-August 2023, the turnover index in industry, total, was 87.2.
The turnover index in industry on the domestic market in August 2024, in comparison with August 2023, was 90.4.
The turnover in industry on the domestic market by Main Industrial Groupings in August 2024, in comparison with August
2023, was lower in Intermediate goods, except energy by 23.0%, Capital goods by 27.3% and Durable consumer goods by
14.3%, but higher in Non-durable consumer goods by 2.4%.
The turnover index in industry on the domestic market in August 2024, in comparison with July 2024, was 93.0, while in
the period January-August 2024, in comparison with January-August 2023, the turnover index in industry on the domestic
market, was 98.2.
The turnover index in industry on the non-domestic market, in August 2024, in comparison with August 2023, was 89.5.
The turnover in industry on the non-domestic market by Main Industrial Groupings in August 2024, in comparison with
August 2023, was lower in Intermediate goods, except energy by 1.6%, Capital goods by 18.4% and Durable consumer
goods by 0.1%, but higher in Non-durable consumer goods by 1.1%.
The turnover index in industry on the non-domestic market in August 2024, in comparison with July 2024, was 93.7, while
in the period January-August 2024, in comparison with January-August 2023, the turnover index in industry on the nondomestic
market , was 83.8.
