According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in May 2014, in
comparison with May 2013, was 109.5.
The index of domestic turnover in industry in May 2014, in comparison with May 2013, increased by 3.6%, and the index of nondomestic turnover in industry increased by 11.8%.
The turnover index in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in May 2014, in comparison with May 2013, decreased by
28.4%, while in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 12.0%.
The turnover index by Main Industrial Groupings in May 2014, in comparison with May 2013, was higher in Capital goods
industries by 32.9% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 7.3%, but lower in Energy by 97.5%, Intermediate goods
industries, except energy by 3.5% and Durable consumer goods industries by 0.1%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in May 2014, in comparison with April 2014, was 100.9, while in the
period January-May 2014, in comparison with January-May 2013, the turnover index in industry was 109.9.
