According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in April 2014, in comparison with April 2013, was 106.1.
The index of domestic turnover in industry in April 2014, in comparison with April 2013, decreased by 12.3%, whereas the index of non-domestic turnover in industry increased by 14.3%.
The turnover index in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in April 2014, in comparison with April 2013, decreased by 8.8%, while in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 6.9%.
The turnover index by Main Industrial Groupings in April 2014, in comparison with April 2013, was higher in Capital goods industries by 35.5% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 0.5%, but lower in Energy by 93.2%, Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 2.4% and Durable consumer goods industries by 8.7%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in April 2014, in comparison with March 2014, was 99.9, while in the period January-April 2014, in comparison with January-April 2013, the turnover index in industry was 109.9.
