Turnover indices in industry, August 2013

According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in August 2013, in comparison with August 2012, was 98.1.
The index of domestic turnover in industry in August 2013, in comparison with August 2012, decreased by 13.0%, while the index of non-domestic turnover in industry increased by 4.4%.
The turnover index in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in August 2013, in comparison with August 2012, decreased by 6.7%, and in the section Manufacturing industry it decreased by 1.6%.
The turnover index by Main Industrial Groupings in August 2013, in comparison with August 2012, was higher in Energy by 71.8%, Capital goods industries by 15.7%, and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 0.2%, but lower in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 11.1%, and Durable consumer goods industries by 20.5%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in August 2013, in comparison with July 2013, was 87.5, while in the period January-August 2013, in comparison with January-August 2012, the turnover index in industry was 105.8.
