Turnover indices in industry, May 2013

According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in May 2013, in
comparison with May 2012, was 108.7.
The index of domestic turnover in industry in May 2013, in comparison with May 2012, decreased by 13.5%, and the index of
non-domestic turnover in industry increased by 20.8%.
The turnover index in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in May 2013, in comparison with May 2012, increased by
19.3%, while in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 8.1%.
The turnover index by Main Industrial Groupings in May 2013, in comparison with May 2012, was higher in Capital goods
industries by 94.4%, but lower in Energy by 74.5%, Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 0.8%, Durable consumer
goods industries by 18.4% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 8.2%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in May 2013, in comparison with April 2013, was 97.4, while in the
period January-May 2013, in comparison with January-May 2012, the turnover index in industry was 105.5.
