Industrial production volume index, December 2012

According to the State Statistical Office data, the industrial production volume index in the Republic of Macedonia in December
2012, in comparison with December 2011, was 92.0.
The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in December 2012, in comparison with December 2011, decreased
by 1.9%, in the section Manufacturing industry it decreased by 8.2%, and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning
supply it decreased by 8.8%.
The industrial production by Main Industrial Groupings in December 2012, in comparison with December 2011, was lower in
Energy by 14.3%, Capital goods industries by 10.8%, Durable consumer goods industries by 23.4% and Non-durable consumer
goods industries by 12.0%, but higher in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 3.9%.
The industrial production index in the Republic of Macedonia in the period January-December 2012, in comparison with
January -December 2011, was 93.4.
