According to the State Statistical Office data, the industrial production volume index in the Republic of Macedonia in April 2012, in comparison with April 2011 was 92.8.
The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in April 2012, in comparison with April 2011, decreased by 3.2%, in the section Manufacturing industry it decreased by 7.0% and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 10.3%.
The industrial production by Main Industrial Groupings in April 2012, in comparison with April 2011, was lower in Energy by 27.4%, Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 2.3% and Durable consumer goods industries by 57.7%, but higher in Capital goods industries by 1.2% and Non-Durable consumer goods industries by 5.1%.
The industrial production index in the Republic of Macedonia in the period January-April 2012, in comparison with January-April 2011, was 91.9.
