According to the State Statstcal Ofce data, the industrial producton volume index in the Republic of Macedonia in December 2011, in comparison with December 2010, was 95.2.
The industrial producton in the secton Mining and quarrying in December 2011, in comparison with December 2010, increased by 13.2%, in the secton Manufacturing industry it decreased by 3.8%, and in the secton Electricity, gas, steam and air conditoning supply it decreased by 15.3%.
The industrial producton by Main Industrial Groupings in December 2011, in comparison with December 2010, was higher in Non-durable consumer goods industries by 5.4%, but lower in Energy by 13.6%, Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 10.8%, Capital goods industries by 12.7% and Durable consumer goods industries by 2.0%.
The industrial producton volume index in the Republic of Macedonia in the period January - December 2011, in comparison with January - December 2010, was 103.3.
