According to the State Statistical Offce data, the industrial production volume index in the Republic of Macedonia in
October 2011, in comparison with October 2010, was 96.2.
The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in October 2011, in comparison with October 2010, increased by 11.7%, in the section Manufacturing industry it decreased by 5.3%, and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it increased by 1.2%.
The industrial production by Main Industrial Groupings in October 2011, in comparison with October 2010, was higher in Capital goods industries by 17.3% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 4.0%, but lower in Energy by 11.3%, Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 10.6% and Durable consumer goods industries by 1.7%.
The industrial production volume index in the Republic of Macedonia in the period January - October 2011, in comparison with January - October 2010, was 105.2.
