According to the State Statistical Office data, the industrial production volume index in the Republic of Macedonia in September 2011, in comparison with September 2010, was 97.7.
The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in September 2011, in comparison with September 2010, decreased by 8.6%, in the section Manufacturing industry it decreased by 0.3% and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 18.8%.
The industrial production by Main Industrial Groups in September 2011, in comparison with September 2010, was higher in Capital goods industries by 48.1% and Durable consumer goods industries by 8.7%, but lower in Energy by 17.9%, Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 5.3% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 1.8%.
The industrial production volume index in the Republic of Macedonia in the period January - September 2011, in comparison with January - September 2010, was 106.3.
