Industrial production volume index, June 2011

According to the State Statistical Office data, the industrial production volume index in the Republic of Macedonia in June 2011, in comparison with June 2010, was 98.2.

The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in June 2011, in comparison with June 2010, decreased by 2.8%, in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 3.4%, while in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 33.5%.

The industrial production by Main Industrial Groups in June 2011, in comparison with June 2010, was higher in Capital goods industries by 17.6%, Durable consumer goods industries by 139.8% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 11.4%, but lower in Energy by 45.7% and Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 3.6%.

The industrial production volume index in the Republic of Macedonia in the period January - June 2011, in comparison with January - June 2010, was 109.2.
